Interior Girls Softball Assocaition

The Interior Girls Softball Association (IGSA) is a non-profit corporation, created in 1977. IGSA currently serves 300+ young women, ages 5-18, within the Fairbanks North Star Borough and surrounding communities.

Mission Statement

Through the promotion and encouragement of healthy competition and acquisition and improvement of skills, IGSA hopes to provide youth with social contact, to implant firmly in the youth a love of the sport of softball along with ideals of good sportsmanship, physical fitness, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and grow to be decent, healthy, trustworthy adults.

South Davis Fields
The South Davis Fields will serve as the permanent home for girls softball activities in the greater Fairbanks area. IGSA offers two types of programs, slow pitch and competitive fast pitch. This 5-field softball complex will be equipped to handle league and tournament play at the recreational, competitive and varsity high school levels (including state varsity championships).
